BSSS Balasore




Balasore Social Service Society (BSSS) is a registered non profit developmental organisation. It is the official socio-developmental wing of the Diocese of Balasore. BSSS has been rending its service to people of its operational area irrespective of class, caste, creed and ethnicity. BSSS is an organisation for the development of the marginalized and vulnerable people in its operational area.



BSSS operational expanse spread out to four civil districts of Odisha, they are Balasore, Bhadrak, Mayurbhanj and Keonjhar.  Out of the four districts keonjhar and Mayurbhanj are two tribal predominant constituencies; majority belong to the Santal, Ho, Oran, Munda, Bhumijo and Kulho tribes. Added to these, the majority of the total populations of these districs live below the poverty line. the other two Balasore and Bhadrak are coastal Districts predominantly inhabited by Dalits and other socially and econoically backword communities and these areas are often worst affected by recurring flood during monsoon.
